Five of the six Cottages have ground floor level access and three offer adequate wheelchair access. The parking area is immediately adjacent to the cottages. Pimpernel, Harebell and Campion offer ground floor bedrooms and easy access.

These are courtyard properties with their own private patio and grass gardens. The cottages are situated in idyllic surroundings within 10 acres of beautiful and peaceful Gloucestershire farmland in the historic Forest of Dean. The immediate area around the cottages is level, constructed of stone or brick paving. The adjacent parking is part of a gravel driveway area. The private patio and grass gardens are spacious and with wood furniture and barbecues. The gardens have been designed and planted to provide stimulating plants for smell, touch and colour throughout the year.

Pimpernel Cottage sleeping 4 people- There are no ramps or steps to the property. The doorway is level and is over 90cm wide. All internal doors are hand crafted solid oak and over 90cm wide. The door handles and large light switches are all at an accessible height. All taps are traditional cross head controlled. Windows are opened by a one-hand operation at an accessible height. There is ample space for wheelchairs to manoeuvre all around the cottage. There is a single set of steps (2) between the lounge and dinning/kitchen and main bathroom area. Lounge: There are three high backed sofas offering good lumber support and two smaller arm chairs. The Colour TV, DVD and video recorder which are all remote controlled. Dining: The rectangle dining table (height 77 cm) made of handcrafted oak and very sturdy it offers unobstructed room for six people in wheel chair or on the chairs provided. Kitchen: is extremely well equipped, with oven hinged to the left, oven/microwave, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer\dryer. The work surface is at a 90 cm working height. Bedrooms: There is ample room to manoeuvre a wheelchair in each bedroom. There is one twin room and a king-sized four poster room. The bed (height 55 cm) in double bedroom and the beds (height 57cm) in the twin bedrooms are made of heavy country pine with pocket sprung mattresses, with plenty of space to get a hoist underneath. There is a TV. in the double room with video and remote control. Cloth hanging rails are provided to give unrestricted access. Bathroom: There are two bathrooms; Ensuite. (double bedroom) Access is via a set of two wide stairs. The shower is thermostatically controlled. The toilet (height 41cm) allows front only transfer access, with rails for assistance. The washbasin (height 71cm) allows easy wheelchair access with mirror above. Main bathroom. Has a king sized low level Jacuzzi bath. There is a separate thermostatically controlled shower and shower stool if required. The toilet (height 47cm) is positioned perfectly to facilitate transfer from front. Wall mounted basin, with unobstructed access and mirror above.

Harebell cottage sleeps 2 people. A single, ground floor cottage with wheelchair access. There are no ramps or steps to the property. The doorway is level and is 90cm wide. Harebell has one downstairs accessible king-sized bedroom. The sitting room and open plan kitchenette. There is a separate bathroom which is accessible to wheelchairs. All the internal doors in these rooms are hand crafted solid oak and 85 cm wide. The door handles and light switches (height 110cm) are all at an accessible height. All taps are lever controlled. There is space for wheelchairs to manoeuvre. The bathroom has a low level easy access bath with mixer shower and grab handrails. The toilet height is height 43cm and a separate basin with unobstructed access and mirror over. Lounge: Two seater sofa which is high backed and have good lumber support with a separate arm chair. There is a colour TV, DVD and video recorder which are all remote controlled. Kitchen: is hand crafted and is extremely well equipped, the oven is hinged right, microwave is on top of fridge and freezer (150cm) but can be moved as required. Height of work surface 90cm.

There is sufficient room to manoeuvre a wheelchair in the bedroom. The bed (height 56cm) are made of metal country pine with pocket sprung mattresses. There is plenty of space to get a hoist underneath.

Campion Cottage sleeps 4 people. A single ground floor cottage with wheelchair access. There are no ramps or steps to the property. The doorway is level and is 90cm wide. There are two accessible bedrooms, one twin and one king-sized room with accessible sitting room kitchen and dining room. All the internal doors in these rooms are hand crafted solid oak and 85 cm wide. The door handles and large light switches (height 104cm) are all at an accessible height. The main bathroom taps are lever controlled. The basin in the twin room has traditional cross head taps. There is ample space for wheelchairs to manoeuvre. Lounge/Dining/Open plan kitchen: Flooring is high quality tiles and rugs. Both the sofas are high backed leather and offer good lumber support. There is a colour TV, and DVD which both all remote controlled. Kitchen: is open to the lounge and dining areas and is extremely well equipped, with oven hinged to right, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Work-surface has a height of 92cm Dining: The oval dining table (height 75 cm) offers unobstructed room for four people in wheel chairs or on the chairs provided. There is a single step between the lounge and the main bathroom and double bedroom. There is room to manoeuvre a wheelchair in the bedrooms. The beds (height 48cm) are made of metal with pocket sprung mattresses. There is plenty of space to get a hoist underneath. Bathroom Private with whirlpool low level bath and mixer shower with bath access rails for assistance. A toilet (height 42 cm) allowing front only transfer access, and wall mounted basin (height 81cm) allowing unobstructed wheelchair access and mirror above. There is easy access to the rear gardens through double French doors and the immediate area is paved. There is also a courtyard to the front. Both outdoor area have wooden garden furniture and are wheel chair accessible.

Meadowsweet Cottage sleeps 4 people. A two story cottage. wheelchair access is limited to the downstairs lounge area only. There are no ramps or steps into the property. The doorway is level and is 90cm wide. There are two bedrooms; neither are accessible to wheelchairs one twin and one king-sized room with accessible sitting room kitchen and dining room. Celandine Cottage sleeps 4 people. A two storey cottage. Main access is via steep stone steps and there is no wheelchair access. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and although there is ground floor access, neither are accessible to wheelchairs. The upstairs sitting room has a dining area and separate kitchen. All the internal doors in these rooms are hand crafted solid oak and 83 cm wide. The door handles and large light switches (height 104cm) are all at an accessible height. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathroom/shower room. Lounge: The sofa is high backed and offer good lumber support. There are two separate arm chairs. There is a colour TV, and DVD which both all remote controlled. Kitchen: space is limited and does not provide wheelchair access. The kitchen is well equipped, with oven hinged to right, microwave, hob, fridge/freeze.
